We booked this hotel pre-cruise and it was wonderful. It was easy to find for us since we were driving in. Parking offered by Hotel was great, it was underground valet parking. We could walk to shopping, and about a 15 min walk to ground zero. We also took the subway (10 min walk) and the front desk was very helpful to guide us. We arrived early and they were great to accomodate us with our room prior to check-in time. We had 2 rooms booked and both were very nice. Our room was on the corner and with a beautiful view. Breakfast in the morning was great and they had free internet usage in the breakfast area lounge.
Would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed at the Seaport Inn Downtown on January 14-17, 2010 and were very pleased with our accommodations. The facility was very clean, the continental breakfast was adequate and the staff was quite helpful. Also, since we were in town for our son's wedding and had never met our daughter-in-law's family it was very nice to be able to use the conference room to have some quality time and space to meet and greet each family member in a quiet and informal setting. Again, thank you for your assistance and we hope to stay at the Best Western Seaport Inn again!

We decided on this hotel because it was difficult to find any hotel in New York without negative comments. We use Best Western when touring the States, so decided to use this hotel for our 5 night stay. The hotel is next to the Brooklyn Bridge and we had a view that overlooked the bridge - really pretty at night. The area is very quiet, lots of places to eat and a shopping mall nearby - the deli next to the hotel is very handy. The hotel itself is quiet, the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is standard BW - but good to fill-up on before a day of sightseeing. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Ground Zero, Liberty Park and the ferries. There are also two subway stations nearby to get uptown. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at the Seaport Inn on Dec 6 for three nights. I have to say that our experience was a very positive one. Our room was on the 5th floor and we had a view of the Brooklyn Bridge from our window. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfy. The front desk was very nice and helpful. On the one rainy day I needed to take a cab to my class and they arranged for a car to come and get me and take me to class. Also they let my husband do a late check out on our last day and stored our bags, all free of charge. The hotel is within walking distance to Battery Park, Little Italy and Wall Street. There is a Subway station a few blocks away that we utilized to go to Uptown Manhattan one evening. I highly recommend this hotel.

My sister, best friend and I stayed here from 12/4 - 12/6. We were there strictly for a shopping trip only. The hotel is in a very quaint location with cobble stone streets. We felt very safe here. It was a few blocks to the subway to take us into midtown. Lots of shops and places to eat nearby though. The staff was phenomenal from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful!!!! I can't stress enough how friendly everyone was. I highly recommend this hotel. I've never written a review on another hotel but thought that this hotel deserved me taking the time out to recommend it to everyone interested.

"I accompany my husband on his business trips to NYC and we always stay at this hotel. Every stay here has been wonderful. The hotel is clean, staff friendly, comfortable beds, excellent hot water and strong water pressure. Easy to use wireless internet and tasty deluxe continental breakfast - both free - make this the perfect hotel for us. The hotel does not have its own parking but garages are in front and close by. In terms of location, this hotel was chosen for its proximity to the office, but there are a number of restaurants all within walking distance as well as a many that offer free delivery to the hotel."

"We recently stayed for one night. The staff was super friendly from the moment we arrived. They also upgraded us to a terrace room, without any extra charge! Great view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Seaport area. Rooms were clean and spacious (for NYC). The terrace was also very large, however we couldn't really enjoy it much being it was pretty cold out. They also have free breakfast, which isn't bad. Cereal, bagels, waffles, juice, coffee, etc.
There is a lot to do in the area. There are many places to eat and shop. We really enjoyed the Bridge Cafe (oldest bar in NYC), the bartender was fabulous and very knowledgeable. There is a subway stop just a few blocks away that will take you uptown. I really enjoyed staying downtown, it's quaint and calm compared to uptown."

"We booked this hotel for a family reunion at Thanksgiving. The hotel staff were great. The location of the hotel was great. We had many grandchildren at the reunion and they enjoyed the proximity to the South Seaport and the activities and shopping it has to offer. We liked the lack of city traffic around the hotel and felt safe with all the young children we had around.
The rooms were spacious and very clean. The free breakfast was well stocked and the staff kept replacing the food as it was consumed. The subways stations were nearby and the hotel was close to a free shuttle service that takes you around the downtown New York area.
We're looking forward to come back to this hotel again and again."

"We just returned from NYC and our stay at The Best Western Seaport. We were surprised to see this location and how close we were to the Seaport. Our room was clean and from our 7th floor location we had views of the Brooklyn Bridge and water. Each person at the front desk was just wonderful.Parking was an easy walk in a safe garage for $20.00 per day.We were close to a bus line, subway and cabs at the front door that we preferred.
The breakfast was nice.Eggs waffles, fruit and all the usual breads and pastry.Though the room was small we opted to take ours to our room.
The Hotel has 2 good size elevators. For NYC a surprise as other places we have stayed has had one tiny elevator."
